Winston Churchill’s dentures have sold on auction for $23,750. Britain’s legendary war-time prime minister had the dentures especially made to preserve his natural lisp.
The buyer was a Churchill fan from Gloustershire, who bought the fake teeth for 3 times more than the anticipated going price. The same collector owns Churchill’s microphone used to announce the end of World War II.
Sir Winston Churchill had several sets of upper dentures made to be loose fitting to preserve his characteristic lisp.
The next item of Churchill memorabilia becoming now available to the public are the private letters and notes of the war-time prime minister – over one million pages of documents. They will published electronically for the first tim in libraries online.

I wonder what Churchill would have though of dental implants or even dentures implants in this day and age.
